If there is a user-template directory where we can place our templates, it should simplify things.

How’s this going?

I notice that board templates have made an appearance, but what I would really like to see is the ability to create user-defined card templates. Personally, I put 3 or 4 headings onto each of my Reading/research cards (one for notes, another for the bibliographic or other reference, another for oints to be developed, and another for quotations). I would be nice not to have to repeat the layout each time.

Would love to hear about how this is going? 😊
I agree with the others, a few card template options would be great and really help with consistency of my writing (using the templates as Prompts). At the moment I’m still having to manually type these (which i’m inconsitent with and it relies on my memory), or use notion or tana for this.
I wonder if creating a board for each card template use case, that we can add these cards to other boards as normal and where the templates can be mixed would be an option?
Thanks for consideration! 🙏🏻

As a new user weighing the values of various tools, I completely agree with the above. Fo now, I am keeping open Onenote, copying the template to Scrintal as text (not as a card), then copying the text to the card. Two unnecessary steps.

I do have to say that Scrintal is already amazing. The visual organization leads to insights and creativity. I love the markdown-input. I did not want to manually copy 200 zettelkasten cards from another platform. Thanks!
